About JMAV

I am Jeremy McCoy. I have over a decade of Audio Visual experience for businesses, entertainment, events, AV companies in both military and civilian applications. I started my lifestyle in middle school when I began learning the Bass guitar. I very quickly fell in with a group of very competent young musicians with whom I would spend my teen years in and out of consistently working bands. We all fell in love with the entertainment industry and all its facets including AV. I started to shift away from Bass guitar and did live sound and demo recording for my friends all though my teen years while living in Highland, MI. At 19 I auditioned and achieved the position in the Marine Corps band as the Bass guitarist for the 3RD Marine Aircraft Wing band in Miramar, CA. While serving in the Marine corps I reached the rank of Sergeant and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal and a Certificate of Commendation from the Commanding Officer of Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 3 among other awards for my Musicianship, Audio Engineering, and executing the duties of a Non Commissioned Officer of Marines. Since the Winter of 2018 I have been a Freelance Audio Engineer and General AV technician based in Pittsburgh, PA offering my services to AV companies throughout the United states.
